🐾 My Life Hi, I’m Steph! I’ve always loved animals and have grown up around both dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. I’m reliable, caring and attentive, and I’ll treat your pet as one of my own. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from small breeds such as Pomeranians through to larger, energetic breeds including Border Collies. I’ve also volunteered with Pets of Older People (POOPS), walking dogs for older owners, completed in-home stays and regularly cared for friends’ pets. 🏡 Our Home Our home is a calm, pet-friendly environment with a fully fenced backyard and grassed areas with plenty of room for dogs to explore. There is also a large oval/sports field directly across the road where people regularly walk their dogs, making exercise and walks really convenient. For overnight stays, we have a dedicated, secure area of the home where dogs can settle comfortably and have their own space when they need some quiet time. It’s just myself and my partner living in our home, and we currently have no other pets, so your pet can receive plenty of individual attention. I work from home two days a week and am home most weekends, which gives me flexibility to provide plenty of company, attention and care. 🐶 Services Offered Dog Walking Walks are generally 30–45 minutes, but I’m happy to tailor the walk to your dog’s age, size, energy levels and individual needs. Walks can be around your local area, close to your home, or at your dog’s usual favourite walking spots. Home Visits Perfect for pets who are happier in their own environment. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, play, toilet breaks, cuddles and whatever else is part of your pet’s normal routine. Pet Sitting / Overnight Stays Your pet can stay in our home and enjoy a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of attention, exercise, play and cuddles. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. 🤝 Meet & Greet Before your first booking, I’m happy to arrange a meet & greet with you and your pet. This gives us a chance to meet in person, go through your pet’s routine, discuss their personality and individual needs, and make sure we’re a good fit for each other before you book. I think this is especially important when your pet will be staying in our home or when I’ll be caring for them regularly. ❤️ Your Pet, Their Routine Every pet is different, so I like to understand what makes your pet comfortable and happy. Whether they need lots of exercise and play, a slower-paced walk, plenty of cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll do my best to work around their individual routine and needs.
