Hi there! I’m Shannon — a work-from-home dog lover originally from England. I moved here just over a year and a half ago and, now that I’m all settled in, I can’t wait to get back to what I love most: spending time with dogs! Back in England, I did plenty of dog sitting and cared for pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities — from bouncy Labradors to gentle seniors.

Because I work from home, your furry friend will have company and attention all day long (plus plenty of cuddles, walks, and playtime!). My daily routine usually starts with a good morning walk to get some energy out, followed by a bit of breakfast (for both of us!) and some quiet time while I work. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks for play sessions, potty breaks, and a lunchtime stroll. In the evening, it’s all about winding down with more cuddles, enrichment games, or a relaxed walk around the neighborhood.

Every dog is unique, and I love adapting to their personality. Shy or nervous pups get a gentle, patient approach to help them feel safe and comfortable, while energetic or playful dogs get plenty of activity and stimulation to keep their tails wagging. I’ve looked after everything from excitable puppies to chilled-out seniors, and I make sure each dog gets the kind of attention and structure that suits them best.

At home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, pet-friendly space with secure doors and a dog-safe setup — no hazards or off-limits areas for curious noses. Dogs are always supervised when exploring new spaces or meeting others, and introductions are done slowly and calmly, one step at a time, so everyone feels relaxed and happy.

When I’m not caring for dogs, you’ll usually find me at the gym, out exploring nature on weekends (weather permitting!), or meal prepping and baking for the week ahead. Basically, if it involves dogs, snacks, or sunshine — count me in!
