Hi, I'm Jared! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is a genuine passion of mine. Over the past year, I've worked as a full-time pet sitter, looking after a wide variety of pets in their own homes and providing owners with absolute peace of mind while they're away.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science which not only reflects my commitment to care and detail but also gives me excellent flexibility with my schedule. This allows me to easily adapt to your pet's normal daily routine and give them the dedicated time they deserve.

My Approach to Behavior

I am deeply invested in understanding animal psychology and behavior. Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours studying dog training methodology, behavior patterns, and body language. I combined this heavy self-education with hands-on experience volunteering at the RSPCA, where I learned firsthand how to read, interpret, and react to real-time animal behavior.

Because of this, I'm incredibly sharp at reading a dog's signals. I know exactly how to spot different types of behavior, whether it's picking up on subtle body language, managing over-excitement, or keeping an energetic dog focused and happy, I know exactly what to look for and how to handle it safely.

Services I Provide

• Regular Photo & Text Updates: You’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I send consistent updates and photos so you can relax knowing they're happy and safe.
• Tailored Dog Walking: I match the pace to your dog’s age, fitness level, and energy. I use my understanding of dog behavior to keep walks engaging, using them for both physical exercise and mental enrichment.
• Home Visits & Companionship: Feeding, fresh water, dedicated playtime, and lots of attention.
• Hygiene & Maintenance: Routine litter tray changing or cage cleaning.
• Medication Administration: Experienced in administering oral medications (tablets and liquids) given clear instructions. Please note: For safety reasons, I do not administer injections or intravenous medications.

Experience & Care

I have experience caring for a diverse range of animals, including:

• Dogs & Cats: All shapes, sizes, and temperaments.
• Small Pets & Birds: Rabbits, guinea pigs, and various bird species.
• Exotics: Reptiles and other specialized small animals.

I only accept bookings that allow me to give each animal the undivided time, attention, and high-quality care they deserve. If an emergency ever arises, I will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care, strictly following your instructions.
