Hello! I’m Reilly, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, and over the years I’ve also cared for a pet pig, alpacas, chickens, goldfish and plenty of other animals. I’m genuinely one of those people who will notice an animal before I notice the humans in the room!

I currently share my home with Logan, my beautiful 14-year-old senior Staffy. Caring for an older dog has given me plenty of experience with the extra patience, awareness and gentleness senior animals can need. I’m attentive to changes in behaviour and wellbeing, calm under pressure and capable of responding calmly if something unexpected happens.

I work primarily from home as a breathwork and nervous system coach, which means I’m home a lot and can offer plenty of company and attention to dogs who don’t enjoy being left alone for long periods.

For boarding and daycare, I intentionally accept only one guest dog at a time. I want your dog to feel like they’re staying in a home, rather than a kennel or busy multi-dog environment. Before accepting a booking, I’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with you, your dog and Logan to make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s genuinely a good match.

Dogs staying with me may occasionally be left at home for short periods, but never longer than four hours at a time. As I work primarily from home, they’ll generally have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day.

I’m available for dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking and house sitting. Walks are a minimum of 30 minutes and can be adjusted to suit your dog’s age, fitness, energy and individual needs. I enjoy walking through the local parks and quieter streets around Fitzroy North and am happy to follow your dog’s usual walking routes and routines where appropriate.

I’m also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding and medication routine and will always take the time to understand their personality, needs and little quirks.
When house sitting, I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I carefully follow instructions around doors, gates, keys and your pet’s routine, and always make sure your pet and home are secure whenever I leave.

I don’t care for cats due to allergies, but otherwise I’m a lifelong animal lover and very happy to discuss the needs of other animals.

Most importantly, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your animal with somebody else. I’ll care for them with the same patience, awareness and affection I’d want someone to give Logan. 🐾
