Hi! I’m a Veterinary Technology student with years of hands-on animal handling experience and a genuine love for animals of all shapes, sizes and personalities. Through my studies and experience with animals, I’ve become confident caring for a wide range of pets, from guinea pigs and rabbits to cats, dogs and larger breeds. I’m also comfortable caring for birds, fish and other small animals. I love getting to know each animal individually and adapting my care to their personality, routine and needs. I understand that leaving your pets with someone new can be a big decision, so my goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible while giving owners peace of mind with regular photo updates. Dog Walking My standard walks are 30 minutes and are tailored to your dog’s age, fitness, energy level and confidence. Walks take place around your local neighbourhood and suitable nearby walking areas. I’m happy to accommodate slower sniff-and-explore walks for older or quieter dogs as well as more energetic walks for active dogs. Home Visits During home visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, litter or basic pet-area cleaning, playtime, enrichment, cuddles and companionship. I can also administer basic medication where appropriate and where clear instructions are provided. Photo updates are included so you can see how your pet is going while you’re away. I’m also happy to water plants and bring in mail during visits. The length and number of visits can be arranged depending on your pet’s normal routine and needs. House Sitting For house sitting, I stay in your home so your pets can remain comfortable in their familiar environment. Their usual feeding, walking, toileting, play and bedtime routines will be followed as closely as possible. I treat clients’ homes respectfully, keep doors and gates securely locked, and follow any home security instructions provided. Other Pets I’m happy caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish and other small pets. Care can include feeding, fresh water, enclosure spot-cleaning, enrichment and other routine care. For fish, I can also complete basic tank care or water changes when required and when instructions are provided. Availability I’m currently studying Veterinary Technology, so my availability varies around university commitments. I’m generally available mornings and late afternoons/evenings on university days, with greater availability on weekends. I’ll always confirm that I can meet your pet’s required schedule before accepting a booking. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, enrichment and playtime, or simply some quiet company while you’re away, I’ll take the time to understand what makes them comfortable and care for them as an individual.
