Hi, I’m Jim Munro, an experienced and dependable dog walker based at the Rowville Retirement Village, Links at Waterford. I’m also a proud veteran, having served 10 years in the Royal Navy. My service instilled in me strong values of reliability, responsibility, and consistency qualities I bring to every dog in my care.
Experience & Specialized Skills
As a former owner of two Labradors, I have a soft spot for larger, high-energy breeds, but I am equally comfortable with smaller breeds like Terriers or Spaniels. I have experience handling various behavioral traits, including leash pulling and reactivity toward other dogs. My approach is calm and structured; I use positive reinforcement and redirection to keep walks focused and stress-free.
Memorable Challenges & Problem Solving
I once managed a particularly nervous rescue dog that would "freeze" during walks. By utilizing patient body language and incremental trust-building, I helped that dog regain confidence over several weeks. Whether it's navigating a sudden thunderstorm or managing an unexpected encounter with an off-leash dog, I remain composed and prioritize the dog's safety above all else.
Safety & Emergency Readiness
Safety is my absolute priority. I double-check gates, leads, and harnesses before every outing. In the event of an emergency or sudden illness, I am prepared to:
• Immediately secure the dog in a safe location.
• Contact you and your preferred vet instantly.
• Administer basic first aid or transport the dog to the nearest emergency clinic if required.
Tailored Care
Walks are 30–60 minutes and tailored to your dog’s fitness level. I focus on safe routes and maintain constant awareness of our surroundings. You can trust that your dog will be treated with the same kindness and respect I gave my own companions.
Your dog will be in safe, caring, and secure hands with me.

Hi, we’re Mocca and Tik, a caring pet-sitting couple based in Wantirna South. We can communicate in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

We provide calm, home-style dog boarding, doggy day care and home visits for pets who need reliable care while their owners are away. We welcome dogs of all sizes, from small dogs to larger breeds, provided the booking is suitable for their routine, temperament and care needs.

We work from home most days, so pets are usually accompanied and supervised throughout the day. We only accept one booking from one owner at a time, meaning your pet receives individual attention rather than being mixed with multiple unfamiliar pets.

Our home
We live in a clean and cozy 3-bedroom townhouse with a small, fully fenced backyard. Pets are welcome to relax in the living area and make themselves comfortable. Backyard time is supervised, and we have several local parks nearby for walks, sniffing and outdoor play.

What we offer
Dog boarding, doggy day care and home visits
Dogs of all sizes welcome, subject to suitability
One booking from one owner at a time
WFH couple providing regular companionship
Calm home-style care, not a busy multi-dog environment
Regular photo and message updates
Feeding, toileting, walking and sleeping routines followed closely
Supervised backyard time and local walks
Pick-up and drop-off available by arrangement

What to bring for boarding/daycare:
Food for the stay + any treats
🦮 Leash, harness and waste bags
Favourite toy or comfort item
Bed or blanket if your pet uses one
Medication or care instructions if required
Routine notes, including feeding, toileting, sleep, walking needs and anxiety triggers

Before confirming a booking, we are happy to chat or arrange a meet and greet to understand your pet’s routine, personality and care needs. New enquiries are very welcome, even if you are not ready to book yet.

Hi,I'm a fit, mature, active local of Burwood, Victoria, available on weekends only. I have three dogs up to a high level of obedience so I have tons of experience with different types of personalities and ages.My pet hate is seeing dogs walking their owners. Having been through this myself I know how uncomfortable and dangerous it can be to have a dog that pulls you along. This is what got me into dog training. My first dog, at 6 months old, was the size of a small horse. I realised that "google" training just wasn't cutting it and dedicated 2 years to his obedience. Currently I am available on Mondays and Tuesdays to walk and train local dogs.I'm very safety conscious and hyper aware of other dogs. I did a lot of specialised training with rescue dogs that were unsociable and aggressive also. The course trained us in dogs pre aggression tells, that is the signs that dogs can display prior to an attack. This can include; tail wagging, panting, eyes darting, locking of lips, a change in gait, posture changes etc.Your dog will be safe with me and that's the most important thing when you are entrusting your dog with someone else.I also want to make my services affordable. It breaks my heart to hear of the dog shelters getting full of dogs now everyone is back at work.Personally I have 3 rescue dogs who have brought much joy, fun and laughter into my life.

Hi everyone! I'd love for you to call me Sam! (female)
A little about me!
I grew up in New Zealand with an array of furry friends, from dogs, cats, mice, rats, chooks, fish, birds and horses.
I am the one that attends to the ‘broken’ ones that nobody else wanted. I loved them all.
From a very early age, I always had a way with animals, like a deep understanding of whatthey felt, what they wanted. They were my go to when I needed someone to talkto. This has led me later in life, to Reiki and Intuitive Healing, and Inter-species communication.
I have worked with many rescues, including Greyhounds, as well as rescued wild animals, and those still living free. This now includes approximately 20 species of animals, from around the globe.
The information received has been confirmed by pet owners, and via X-Rays in wild animals, as being accurate.
I lived on a farm for 9 years, having further experience with both cows and sheep.
My life wouldn’t be what it is today without furry companions by my side. Animals complete me.
I currently live with my two cats, Puma (a rescue), and Luna, (my Covid saving grace.)

What can I offer for you and your beloved pets?
I will come to your home, up to twice a day. (More per our arrangement for those animals in need of high care and love) All animals will be greeted with love, pats, and cuddles.
As I have an insight into how animals feel, I will allow timid and or rescues to come to me when they are comfortable, rather than pushing them. It doesn’t usually take long, unless they have experienced severe trauma. It’s all about building trust, and for them to feel safe.
I will feed them as per your instructions; change water bowls daily, and brush if requested. I will clean up any doggy or kitty DoDo’s if needed. Time permitting; I will have a quick play in your yard with your dog, or inside stimulus with your pet.
I offer Dog walking on lead, as an additional service. I also offer to take iPhone photos or short videos of your furry family and send to you for peace of mind that they are settled, looked after, and loved.
If there were any emergencies, I would take them to your vet of choice, after a phone call to you to talk things through, or any other arrangements that you may have put in place.
I am happy to give medication where needed, if your animal is easy to administer, otherwise let me know your tricks to make it successful. I have only done needling on sheep, so I'm not really experienced with injecting medications, however I am happy to learn.
If I am walking your Dog, I am happy to encourage basic commands as per your instruction. I usually get a dog to sit, before crossing roads. (My cats also sit before I put their evening meal out ha ha)
I am also happy to water any indoor plants if needed, and collect any mail.
I have been pet sitting (including rescues) and dog walking privately for a number of years, and can provide feedback by previous clients if needed.
I have walked dogs from 8 kgs to 54 kg, and everything in-between.
I have also helped with the re-homing of a Wolf Hound X, as her owners could no longer look her after. I am happy to say that Molly now has a lovely home and family she can call her own.
I am very down to Earth, honest, reliable and trustworthy person. What you see, is what you get. Just ask you pet! ;)

Love to hear from you, if you think I may be a great fit you both yourself, and especiallyyour furry babies.
Sam
