Hi there!
My name is Courtnay! I have so much love for animals and love meeting new four legged friends. Two and a half years ago I moved to Australia from Canada, where I was naturally the pet sitter for all my friends and coworkers. Not having a dog myself yet, this has helped fill the void until I can have a beautiful pet companion of my own! I'm happiest with animals and I love getting to know new pets. I'll take all the time they need and deserve for walks, nature adventures, cuddles, pets, and play! I understand an animal's care for it's owner is a unique bond and time apart can create challenges, so I always aim to care for animals to the highest regard and try to keep their routine as close to normal while their owners are away. 
I have plenty of experience with different breeds of dogs, cats, and varying behaviours and needs an animal may have. Happy to meet each pet where they are at and make the most of our times together!

About my home and duty of care: I am happy to host in my own home or yours. I aim to keep the animals routine as close to their normal as possible. Long or short walks, play time, beach, a hike in the woods away from other animals - whatever they need. If a dog needs quiet time and cuddles, or just a play inside or jn the yard that'd great too! Need support training? Let me know their needs and I'll keep it up. I have experience with senior dogs having to give medication as well so I am comfortable with that too.

I live just south of the CBD and I work full time as a primary school teacher in the Eastern suburbs. For care provided in the week, I will do early morning walks/plays and make my way back to the animal(s) right after work. However please note that during the work week (unless school holidays) I am unable to provide daytime car and the animals must be able to be left for 8 hours. Thank you!
