Hi, I'm Sha — and I’m new to Pawshake, but not to pet care!

I’ve been looking after other's pets and properties for over nine years, across everything from cozy family homes to remote off-grid retreats. Ive had my own pets since 2006 who are longer with me.

I’m mature, clean, tidy, well-organised and reliable — with a friendly, down-to-earth attitude.

Animal care experience:

I’ve cared for just about every kind of animal — pampered fur babies, semi-working dogs, a cheeky cockatoo, reptiles (including a python and two monitors), chickens, goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, cows and now even ducks!

Cats usually end up minding me and becoming my little overlords.

I have a real soft spot for anxious or high-maintenance pets. My own rescue dog taught me a lot over 12 years about patience and gentle care. I seem to have a natural way with sensitive animals and am happy to provide extra attention and reassurance while you’re away.

Home & property care:

Experienced in house-minding and simple garden maintenance — from suburban backyards to wild bush blocks.

I bring my own linen, use my own cleaning supplies (or yours, if you prefer), and I’m respectful about food and household items. I’ll also restock your essentials before you return home.

My references will tell you the same thing: homes are always a little cleaner and pets a little happier when I leave. I like things neat, calm, and just where you left them.

A little about me personally:

Although I love travelling, I’m very much a homebody. Whether your pets are snuggly couch companions or adventure buddies, I’m happiest spending quality time with them — at home or out exploring their favourite spots.

I understand how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I want you to know they’ll be cared for as if they were my own. I’m fine with bed-sharing pets and always happy to send regular updates.
