Hi! I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter with experience looking after cats and dogs for friends, family and other pet owners. I also have two pets of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pets while you’re away.

I’m available weekdays and weekends and can provide one or two 30-minute home visits per day depending on your pet’s needs and routine. I’m happy to travel up to 10km for bookings.

During visits I can take care of feeding, fresh water, litter changes, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles, basic grooming and anything else included in your pet’s normal routine. I’m comfortable with different personalities, including shy, nervous and energetic pets, and I’ll always take the time to let them become comfortable with me.

For new clients, I’m happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand so I can meet you and your pet, learn their routine and go over feeding, access and any special instructions.

I take the security of your home seriously. Keys and access details will always be kept secure and private, and I’m comfortable following instructions for alarms, gates or other home security. I’ll double-check that your home is properly locked and secure before leaving every visit.

I’ll send photos and an update after each visit, so you can see how your pet is doing. If I notice anything unusual or have any concerns, I’ll contact you straight away and follow the emergency or vet instructions you provide.

I have hands-on experience caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I’ve looked after shy and nervous pets that needed extra time to become comfortable, as well as energetic pets that needed plenty of play and attention. I’m confident following detailed feeding schedules, keeping litter areas clean, monitoring eating and drinking, and noticing changes in a pet’s normal behaviour. I understand how important it is to stick closely to an owner’s instructions, especially when a pet has a particular routine. While I don’t currently have professional experience administering medication, I’m very willing to learn and follow clear instructions from owners for pets that require basic medication.

I’ve had hands-on experience caring for pets while their owners have been away, including pets that were initially nervous or unsettled and needed extra patience and reassurance. I’ve also dealt with situations such as pets refusing their usual food, minor messes or accidents in the home, and changes in behaviour or routine. If anything unexpected happens, I stay calm, make sure the pet is safe, contact the owner and follow their instructions or emergency vet details if necessary. When I have multiple bookings, I plan my visits carefully and allow plenty of travel time so I’m not rushing between pets. For pets receiving two visits per day, I space the visits out between morning and evening so they aren’t left for unnecessarily long periods without care.

I’m comfortable caring for multi-pet households and making sure each pet receives individual attention while following their own feeding and care routine. If a pet requires medication, I’m happy to follow clear instructions from the owner and learn the correct way to administer it safely. In an emergency, I would stay calm, contact the owner immediately and, if necessary, contact their nominated vet or emergency vet and follow the emergency plan provided. I’m flexible with my availability and can generally offer morning, daytime and evening visits on both weekdays and weekends. I plan my bookings carefully so I have enough time between visits and each pet receives their full scheduled care without being rushed.
