I was a zoo keeper but am taking a break from it but I still love animals. I am very good with animals that don't usually like people, I tell people this and they are always surprised when it is true.

Happy to look after any and all animals - not just cats and dogs, but birds, reptiles, rodents or other small pets.

I'm good with giving medications to animals, whether topical, oral or injectable - as I have experience through zoo-keeping as well as wildlife rescue and care.

I've also done training and conditioning on many different animals and can work with training you are currently doing or help you work out what you'd like to train your dog on. I'm also handy at washing dogs and trimming paws. I've never groomed a dog to a breed specific cut but am good at a general trim or trimming the paws.

I've had a West Highland White Terrior, and pet rats, as well as helping look after my sisters rabbit and frequently pet sitted for friends - even one who has a bird that hates everyone and one with 2 HUGE dogs.

Home visits  I can also do small things around the house like watering plants or checking mail, taking bins out, that kind of thing, if needed.

My own dog is a rescue Kelpie x Corgi who was badly abused and malnurished and adopting her has been the best thing I've ever done.

I know when I'm away from home I want someone who will look after my pet like she's their own and send me updates and I can do that for you. Even if your pet isn't a fan of people, I'm happy to take my time to gain their trust. I actually worked with a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo that took 5 years before he'd come to me for pats (he was not a fan of people).
