To be honest, I used to be the kind of person who would jump on a sofa or run away whenever I saw a dog! That all changed when I met Glady, the first dog I shared a home with in a rented house. At first, I was scared, but without even realising it, I grew so close to Glady. He became my little companion, and when I had to move to another part of Melbourne, I missed him deeply. That’s when Arlo came into my life.

I had originally planned to get a small toy poodle, but instead, I ended up with a gigantic cutie pie! Now I can’t imagine life without him. He taught me things only a pet parent can truly understand — patience, empathy, and the purest form of love.

We include Arlo in almost everything we do, from weekend getaways to daily park visits. I’m experienced with handling large breeds, administering medication, basic grooming (like brushing, cleaning paws, and managing shedding), and following specific feeding routines. I also have experience with socialising dogs around others and ensuring they feel comfortable and safe in new environments.

As a pet sitter, my goal is to care for every dog with the same affection and attention I give Arlo  especially those who might be shy, anxious, or overlooked because of their size. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I’ll make sure your furry friend feels loved, safe, and at home while you’re away.
