I’m a mature academic and often work from home. I’ve a Working With Children’s Check for added peace of mind.

Errol is a lab born at the end of January 2021. I can only board dogs who will get along with him. 

My partner, Sean (his photo is on the profile with Errol), helps me with all the furry friends I care for and he’s as dog obsessed as I am, if not more. He also has loads of experience with cats and farm animals so as a team we are more amazing! Doing this together makes it easy for us to make sure that at least one of us is available all the time and also makes all logistics flexible and smooth.

Dogs have been the greatest source of joy in my life ever since I can remember and I’ve lived with and taken care of 1 up to 5 dogs since the age of 12. I’ve taken care of mixed rescues, Boxers, French Mastiffs, Pugs, Wolfgounds, Spaniels, Labradors, Bull Arabs, Staffies, Chihuahuas, and Golden Retrivers and can’t wait to meet more of them. The welfare of dogs and their happiness is primary for me and before the first walk or stay, I would like to discuss their likes, dislikes, needs, personality etc. in details to make sure that the time they spend with me is as good for them as it’ll be for me.

I have also now started to understand cats and I’m proud to declare that they seem to like me 😍

With apologies I share a list of exclusion criteria due to my current circumstances:

1. Dogs (male) who are not neutered.

2. Unvaccinated dogs.

3. Dogs not on regular worm and flea treatment.

4. Dogs on raw food diet/BARF.

5. Reactive dogs (very happy to walk them or visit them at their homes).

6. Dogs not fully toilet trained.

I’m sure that all these dogs are lovely, I just can’t directly care for them at the moment. Thanks for understanding.

Dog walking and home visits - I can walk your dogs for 30 minutes twice a day according to your convenience. If you have a pooch who needs more exercise, we can figure out a longer slot too. If I am visiting your place to feed your cat/dog, a similar time can be arranged.

Dog Boarding - I live in a large 3 bedroom unit with a big lounge and medium sized backyard very close to several parks and Elsternwick off leash park.

As far as your dog’s sleeping arrangement is concerned we can decide upon it depending on what they are used to. I don’t like to restrict animals within the house as long as they are safe- so they are as welcome on the sofa and bed as they are on the floor.

You are welcome to have a look at my place before making any decisions. Ripponlea & Elwood Vets are very close to my place too in case of emergencies. I can also cook for your dog if kibble isn’t their preferred diet.
