Hi there! I'm a pet photographer by trade and also a life long animal lover and owner. I have 2 dogs, a cat and a huge love for the whole animal kingdom. I also use Pawshake to have my own pets cared for so understand how important updates and clear communication is when you're away from home. I want to know that the furry members of my family are safe and know you'll want that peace of mind too. Due to the flexibility of my schedule I have hours that suit dog walking and visits so would love to be there for your non-human family members during the times when you need a helping hand with their care. Home visits last around half an hour and walks are also around 30 minutes. I am flexible with visiting times and am open to increasing visit/walk durations (additional fees apply). I did some pet sitting while at uni and of course do a lot of dog walking myself, so am experienced with the responsibilties surrounding handling and walking dogs. I also volunteer as a photographer for pet rescues so am sensitive to the needs of pets who are shy or worried about strangers. My dogs attend obedience school and my old dog went for 4 years so have a fair bit of experience with dog obedience and training, I'm happy to work with whatever training methods you currently use to ensure consistency. I mostly work with dogs, but am absolutely comfortable with cats, chickens, fish and anything else you can write care instructions for. I have experience administering oral medications to dogs and cats and am comfortable giving them a brush if grooming equipment is made available. I have recent (Jan 2022) police check for those who require more peace of mind. I'm very particular about home security so will ensure alarms, locks and gates are utilised as instructed. When booked for home visits I'm also happy to bring in mail, put bins in/out and water house plants. If there's anything else you need please let me know and I can likely accomodate it :)
