Hello! My name is Ana, I’m a 33 year-old architect from Spain. I recently came to Australia to take a course that builds on my professional background and gives me the chance to explore this wonderful country!

I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. For over 10 years, I’ve had the joy of caring for my own dog, which taught me a lot about daily routines, training, and the different needs dogs have at every stage of life. From the playful energy of puppies to the gentle calm of older dogs, I’ve learned to care for them with patience, kindness, and love. What I find most special about dogs is how they always give the best of themselves without expecting anything in return. They’re grateful, loyal, and bring so much joy and I think we make great company for each other. Besides caring for my own dog, I’ve also looked after dogs for friends, neighbors, and families in my community. Spending time with dogs makes me happy, and I started doing it because I love spending time with them and enjoy helping whenever someone needs an extra hand. Being around dogs always lifts my mood! 

I’m usually available in the mornings and afternoons, and my services include walks, home visits and daycare, including feeding and fresh water according to each owner’s instructions. I can also administer oral medication if needed. I’m happy to agree on the walking and companionship schedule that best suits each dog, and I’m also open to helping with other small tasks, such as watering plants or bring in the mail.

When I stay at home with a dog, I like to spend time wherever they feel most comfortable, for example in the garden or terrace if there is one, or indoors where we can play and be together. During walks, I enjoy going to parks, at the moment I live in St Kilda East, surrounded by beautiful green spaces that are perfect for walks and playtime, but I’m also open to following the owner’s preferences about where their dog feels happiest and safest.
