I am an active 56 year old living with my husband, 19 year old son and 24 year old daughter (who is in her sixth year of veterinary studies) along with a delightful dog friendly cat called Bowie due to his different colored eyes. However if your dog does not get on with cats he will happily stay upstairs away from any dogs.

I am an experienced dog handler and trainer having worked at Brush Farm dog training club for over eight years. I teach obedience to puppies and beginners. I also taught my dog rally O and agility. Therefore I have a thorough knowledge of what motivates and engages a dog, how to manage issues and how to train. So if you wanted your dog trained as well that is an option.

My dog passed away and I would love to shower love and time on another dog. I miss walking my dog each day and it would give me great joy to share walks and playtime in the park with another dog.

Both my husband and myself are recently retired so your pet would have company for most of the day and evening. My son is also a dog lover and therefore he will also spend time and walk any dog. If your dog requires any veterinary support eg medications or injections our daughter is qualified and currently works at a vet practice in Surrey Hills.

We have a relatively small but secure back yard. But your dog would be walked every day so they would have plenty of exercise along with lots of love and attention. My dog was high energy so I am used to long walks and outings with a dog.
