I have been surrounded by pets all my life, from cats, dogs, fish and birds. My 6-year-old Birman cat named Beau is my best friend, but there have been times that I’ve had to go away and leave him. He is more relaxed in his own environment, so I know how important it is for some animals to have a reliable person come to their home to feed and play with them. I love pets and I would do more than just give them food and go. I know some need a lot more attention and TLC, particularly if their owner is away and they are feeling lonely. 

In the past I have also minded other people’s cats with medical conditions, so I’m experienced in administering pills, injecting insulin, and monitoring urinary problems.  

My day job is a high school Music teacher, so hundreds of children a year are trusted into my care. I'm well respected in the community. 

I live in an apartment in the Melbourne CBD area and am available for home visits in the city area. I am happy to come and meet your pet before you go away and go through any special needs they have.
