Hi! I’m Nyah I'm 20 years old and currently working as a vet nurse, so caring for animals is something I’m truly passionate about. I have experience handling pets of all sizes, personalities, and needs, and I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident their pets are in safe and caring hands while they’re away.
Working in the veterinary industry has given me experience with animal behaviour, administering basic care, recognising signs of stress or illness, and ensuring pets feel comfortable and secure. I’m confident caring for dogs, cats, and other small animals, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own.
My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for animals and wanting to provide owners with peace of mind when they can’t be home. I know every pet has their own routine and personality, so I always take the time to make sure they feel happy, safe, and well looked after.
I’m happy to provide regular photo and message updates so owners can feel connected to their pets while away. I’m experienced managing multiple pets, following feeding and medication routines, and caring for animals with different temperaments and needs. Walks and playtime are always tailored to each pet’s energy levels and routine to ensure they stay happy, healthy, and comfortable in my care. I'm av available for home vists, walks and overnight stays i also can administer medication comfortably if needed and also can clip nails.
your welcome to chat to me to talk about availability

Hi, I’m Gab!
I’m a 40-year-old professional working for the Australian Federal Government, where I lead teams delivering strategic transformation and change projects.
Over the past year, I’ve been house and pet sitting across Melbourne and Victoria full-time, and I’ve completely fallen in love with the lifestyle. Spending time with animals is genuinely my favourite part of every sit — it’s the part I enjoy most and the reason I keep doing this.
I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs (from small companions to large and working breeds), cats (so many cats!!), chickens, rabbits, horses, birds — and even two llamas (a personal highlight!). I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I take the time to understand each animal’s routine, personality, and needs.
I’m an active and confident dog walker and genuinely enjoy long walks, so I’m very happy to support regular walks, energetic breeds, and dogs who need a bit more exercise. I’m also available for daytime house visits and check-ins. I usually work from home, which means I’m present and flexible throughout the day — I just need a small bench or table space to set up my laptop during longer visits.
I have a current police check and take great pride in being respectful, reliable, and trustworthy in other people’s homes. I understand the importance of privacy, security, and caring for a home as if it were my own, and I always aim to leave things just as they were left — if not better.
While I’m new to Pawshake and don’t yet have reviews on this platform, I’ve completed many short- and long-term house and pet sits through other platforms, as well as direct referrals. I’m very happy to provide strong references upon request.
I’m well suited to short-term and weekend sits, dog walking, and daytime house visits, and I’m always happy to chat and meet beforehand to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone.
Looking forward to meeting you and your pets!— Gab

Hi! My name is Rita, and I’m an outgoing person who loves animals, especially dogs and cats. I’m excited to become a pet sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I love being active and outdoors, and I regularly exercise, including practicing martial arts and other sports, so I’m well-prepared to take dogs on fun, energetic walks.
Although I don’t have professional pet sitting experience yet, I am responsible, reliable, and attentive. I am happy to follow owners’ instructions carefully and provide regular updates so they know their pets are well cared for. I’m patient and adaptable, ready to meet each pet’s unique personality and needs.
For the safety and well-being of all pets, I prefer to care for animals that are up-to-date with their vaccinations. I’m excited to learn through this role, enjoy time outdoors with pets, and provide them with love, attention, and exercise.

Hi everyone ! My names Nik, and I love going on adventures with my big boy Basil.
After taking guardianship of a 5 year old in tact male German Shepherd for over a year now, I've learnt a lot about behaviour management, safe and responsible handling, and giving my dog the best possible chance at succeeding in our training. They say owning a German shepherd will turn you into a dog trainer, and that's not too far from the truth.
My motivation to sign up to this service is to be able to help other dogs become comfortable in all environments.
DOG WALKING SERVICE ( read before booking ) :
This is not a half hour service - and the last place I will be taking your dog to is the dog park. We will be going on nature walks, to the beach, to bunnings and the shops, we will learn how to be calm at the cafe. For this reason my service will be a 1-2 hour commitment. It will be early in the morning (starting at 7am most times). The whole purpose of this experience is to help build confidence in your dog through exercise and exposure to new experiences. This is MOST beneficial for dogs under 15 months old, but also great for all.
The biggest take away that I have had for this last year, is that consistency and time will naturally create the greatest outcomes. To celebrate the small wins when they happen, and to remain emotionally neutral in the stressful times. I'm not a dog trainer - but I love learning and improving and I'm fortunate enough to have a dog who is very well behaved with smaller breeds - I can't tell you how many times I've had owners say "my dog usually doesn't like German shepherds, I've never seen him this fine with them".
if you have a small to medium sized dog and you'd like them to actually get something out of their walks, please reach out :)

VACCINATIONS - its totally up to you what you want to do with your dogs health. The only thing I need to see infront of me when I come for pickup, is a healthy happy Dog.
I wont be offering house stays at this time - but stay tuned that might change!

Hi! My name is Emily Ta. I would love to be a dog sitter because I love dogs and have a chocolate labrador of my own. I live in Noble Park and would be happy to sit at people's homes in the south east suburbs of Melbourne. I like going to the gym, sports and playing piano.I would describe myself and kind, caring and bubbly. I love dogs with a passion and that are one of the biggest joys of my life. I love how dogs are kind and show you a lot of love. I love their companionship and I love having a pet. I know life can get busy or we must just need someone to care for our pets. I think I'd be a good sitter cause I have a dog so I know what it's like ! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.I am free on weekday evenings 6-8. And weekend mornings 9-12.I offer pet owners home visits and sitting. I can look after your pet and your home while house sitting. I can stay for up to 2hrs. I can bring in the mail and water plants. I can take your pets for walks. I can walk in the neighbouring areas for 30 mins to 1hr and take them to the dog park.
