I have always had a genuine love for animals, which is what inspired me to become a pet sitter. Caring for pets doesn’t feel like a job to me; it’s something I truly enjoy and take pride in. I understand how important pets are to the family, so my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

I have experience caring for a wide range of animals, including my regular clients. I currently do drop-in visits for two black cats, where I feed them and spend time with them while their owner is at work. I also regularly dog-sit a bulldog and a staffy in their own home when their owners are away on FIFO work. These experiences have helped me develop strong skills in understanding different temperaments, maintaining routines, and providing personalised care.

I handle shy or nervous pets with patience, letting them warm up at their own pace, using treats, praise, and gentle interaction to build trust. I can also administer medication when required and assist with basic training or skill-building exercises to keep your pets happy and engaged.

For dog sitting, I usually care for one dog overnight at a time to ensure they receive full attention. Drop-in visits can be scheduled throughout the day, and I can fit as many visits in as my schedule allows. Walks are available for 30 minutes or an hour, with longer walks priced accordingly.

During my daily routine, I structure visits to balance care, activity, and comfort. Pets are never left alone for long periods, I ensure they have food, water, exercise, and companionship at regular intervals. Each drop-in visit typically includes feeding, playtime, and a check-in to make sure they are happy and comfortable. Walks are scheduled to provide mental and physical stimulation, and quiet time is built in for rest or cuddles.

I manage multiple bookings using a calendar system to ensure every pet receives the care and attention they deserve, without overlaps or missed visits. In case of emergencies, I am prepared to act quickly and responsibly, including contacting a veterinarian or the owner immediately to ensure the safety and well-being of your pets.

I provide services in the client’s home, as I believe pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment. For safety and well-being, I only care for pets that are fully vaccinated.

I am an online university student and work two casual jobs, so my availability during the day may vary. However, I always try to be flexible and coordinate with owners to make sure their pets’ needs are met.

My motivation is simple: to provide peace of mind for owners while giving their pets the same care, love, and attention they receive at home. 🐾
