Hi, I’m Sophie! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and animals have genuinely been a huge part of my life from a very young age. I grew up around dogs and horses and was always the main person responsible for looking after them, from feeding and grooming to exercising, training, and making sure they were happy and well cared for. I’ve also had experience with rabbits and dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including a German Shepherd.

A lot of my experience with animals has been hands-on, and I’ve trained and cared for many of them myself from a young age. Growing up with horses in particular taught me a lot about patience, consistency, responsibility, and understanding an animal’s behaviour and body language. I really enjoy getting to know each animal’s individual personality and building a relationship with them, rather than treating every pet the same.

I understand that every pet is different, whether they’re energetic and love getting out for long walks, nervous and need a little extra patience, or simply love having someone around for company. I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences, personality, and individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and settled while you’re away.

I currently offer dog walking, home visits, and pet sitting. Each visit can include feeding, fresh water, playtime, toilet breaks, walks, cuddles, and plenty of attention, along with regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and being well looked after. I’m also more than happy to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, as I know how important consistency can be for them.

I’m patient, reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Having cared for my own animals for so many years, I know that they’re not just pets — they’re part of the family. I’ll always treat your animals with the same care, patience, and attention that I would want someone to give to my own.
