Hi, I’m Mairead (pronounced maw-raid), a Masters student who absolutely adores animals big and small! I love making pets feel happy, comfortable and cared for, and I’m always delighted to have some furry company in my day.

I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have a dog and cat back home in Canberra. Being away from them while I’m in Sydney means I’m always happy for an excuse to spend time with other people’s pets! Pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy, and I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and routine.

I offer house sitting, home visits and dog walking, with plenty of experience across all three. I’m also comfortable administering medication and have experience caring for anxious dogs and kittens, so I’m happy to take a patient and gentle approach with pets who need a little extra reassurance.

I’m an active, outdoorsy person and spend much of my free time walking around Sydney or in the yoga studio, so I’m particularly happy to get out and about with energetic dogs. I’m also equally content with a quiet evening keeping a cat company!

My availability is very flexible, with mornings and evenings available on weekdays and weekends. I can easily travel to Redfern, Central and neighbouring suburbs.

Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. New clients and furry friends are very welcome and the first meet and greet is offered free of charge ! 🐶🐱
