Hi, I’m Ella! I’m currently a Genetics student at the University of Sydney, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, parrots and fish, and I currently have a four-year-old cat. My beloved dog was with me for 15 years, so I understand how special the bond between a pet and their family can be.

I also have plenty of hands-on experience with dogs beyond my own pets. Back in my hometown, I regularly helped people in my local community walk their dogs, which gave me experience spending time with dogs with different personalities and routines.

For dog walks, I can provide walks of up to 1.5 hours, depending on your dog’s age, energy level and usual routine. I’m happy to follow your preferred walking route or take your dog to nearby parks and suitable open spaces.

During home visits, I can provide fresh food and water, clean litter trays, take dogs out for walks, play with your pet, keep them company, and do light cleaning of their pet area. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

I’m generally available throughout the day from Thursday to Sunday. I’ll always follow your care instructions and your pet’s usual routine closely. If I notice any unusual behaviour, signs of illness or injury, I’ll contact you promptly. In an emergency, I’ll follow your instructions and contact or take your pet to your nominated vet if necessary.

In my free time, I study horse riding and spend a lot of time around horses, so I’m comfortable around animals of many different sizes and temperaments. I genuinely enjoy being outdoors, going to parks, and spending time with animals.
