Hi there! 

I'm Lara and I'm 43 years old. I'm a high school teacher by trade, so I have an extra dose of patience, fabulous organisational skills and I'm super responsible - but I'm a stay-at-home mum with my two kiddos at the moment, so I'm caring, still super responsible 😅 and patient too 🥰 

I grew up with a number of dogs and cats as pets, and I truly love animals. They have such loving, funny and enjoyable personalities! Our little family includes two beautiful Maine Coon cats (Bumble Bee and Simba) who we brought with us from the UK 10 years ago when we immigrated here. Then there's myself, my hubby and our two boys, who are 8 years old and 3 years old. 

My kiddos will be joining me with any visits. My 8 year old is gentle and very loving with animals, however my 3 year old will definitely be staying in the pram 😬😊

I've used Pawshake petsitters many times to look after our cats when we've been away, so I have a pretty good idea of what it takes to do a great job 👍🏼
