I work from home in cybersecurity, which means I'm genuinely around all day — not just squeezing in visits between meetings. Originally from Germany, I grew up with a golden retriever named Benny, so I've been a dog person for as long as I can remember, and animals have always felt like part of the household rather than an afterthought.

These days I regularly look after friends' dogs, either hosting them at my place in Cronulla or staying at theirs, and I've also taken care of up to six cats at once while house-sitting for someone I was recommended to — so I'm comfortable with multi-pet households and different routines.

For dog walking, I do 30–45 minute walks around Cronulla several times a day, sticking to routes I know well and avoiding busy roads. 

For doggy day care and boarding, your dog gets full run of my flat, regular toilet breaks and several playtime worked around my desk breaks. I keep a close eye on them rather than leaving them to their own devices for long stretches. 

For visits, I typically couple of hours or as needed per drop-in on feeding, fresh water, a litter clean if needed, and some one-on-one attention so cats don't feel like it's just a fly-by.

At home, I keep anything hazardous (cleaning products, small chokeable items, balcony doors) out of reach and I don't leave dogs unsupervised near open doors or with unfamiliar animals until I know how they get on. 

I'm very flexible with timing and whether I stay at yours or have your pet stay with me, so we can figure out whatever setup genuinely suits your pet best.
