Hello! I'm Claudia and I would be honoured to walk your dog(s)! Dogs have always been my number one favourite animal, my boyfriend often tells me that my personality reminds him of one too. In January I will begin my studies to become a veterinary nurse and I may pursue a career as a veterinarian later in life. For now I want to gain as much experience with handling dogs as I can to build my professional profile.
I am currently a volunteer at the Animal Welfare League Queensland where I have been trained to handle dogs correctly (large dogs in particular). I offer quality time with the dogs who are happy to be running around outside instead of in their pens waiting to be adopted. I also have two dogs of my own that I adore. One of them, Oscar, is a rescue and has a lot of trust issues with strangers, so I am experienced in dealing with anxious rescues.
I am a responsible carer who is looking to expand my experience in handling dogs for my professional profile. I want to provide the best care for your dog(s) to meet yours and your furry friend's satisfaction. I am able to continue with the dog's training progression or start with teaching simple commands. There are plenty of spacious dog parks and walking tracks nearby that I can take your dog(s) to. With the owner's permission, I can also have supervised doggy play dates with a friendly greyhound in a secure area.
I can also offer at home visits to check up on your animals while you are away. I will treat your animals with kindness and love as you would while they are in my care as well as respecting your home. This would involve maintaining their food and water, playing with them, and cleaning up after them if need be. I do not have much experience with other animals suchs as rabbits, guinea pigs, or birds but I have a strong eagerness to learn and care for them.
It would be an honour to look after your animals, so please consider me!
Thank you!
