My name is Claire, I'm originally from the US but lived in New Zealand for 6 years and have just recently moved to Coogee! I've grown up around animals but travel back home to the US often so am unable to adopt my own. So to combat that - I'm a SPCA foster parent, pet sitter on Trusted HouseSitters, and now joining Pawshake! I've grown up with cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, hermit crabs, but feel comfortable taking care of just about any animal.

In NZ, I lived with a golden retriever, my roommate's pup, and worked from home full-time. I treated him as my own with lots of walks, pats, and treats. We spent the days throwing the ball at the park or waking on the beach. I always said my favorite roommate has paws.

I'm also comfortable administering medications for your pets. As an SPCA foster parent, it's common for my foster animals to require medications or additional attention

I'd love to help care for your animals while you are away or if you need someone to walk your dog while you are at work. I live with my partner of 8 years, David, and there is always someone home in our house thanks to our flexible work schedules.
