I’m a Master’s student in marine biology at James Cook University, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up around pets and naturally connect with animals of all personalities, from energetic and playful to shy and anxious. Pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy, and it’s a role that fits perfectly alongside my studies while allowing me to spend time doing something meaningful.

My motivation comes from understanding how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I see pets as family, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in your absence, while also giving you peace of mind.

I have previous experience caring for pets for friends, family, and members of my community. This includes feeding, walking, administering basic care, playtime, and sticking closely to each pet’s routine. I offer flexible services such as daily visits, extended stays, and walks (typically 20–40 minutes depending on your pet’s needs). I also provide regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

I’m attentive, reliable, and adaptable. I’m happy to follow specific instructions, manage different temperaments, and accommodate special needs where possible. In the event of any concerns or emergencies, I act quickly and responsibly, always prioritising your pet’s wellbeing.

At this time, I’m unable to host pets in my home as I live on campus, so I specialise in in-home pet sitting and visits. I only care for vaccinated pets, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for everyone involved.
