If you’re anything like me, leaving your dog behind can be one of the hardest parts of going away. That’s why I do everything I can to make your dog feel loved, safe and completely at home while you’re away.

Dogs staying with us become part of the family. They’ll spend their days with me and my 15-year-old daughter (who absolutely adores animals), enjoying walks, playtime, cuddles and plenty of company. I work from home and am a bit of a homebody, so your dog is rarely left alone and is usually right beside me—whether that’s out in the backyard playing ball or helping me do some gardening, curled up on the couch, or snoozing on the bed in my home office, while I work.

Our home has a huge, fully fenced backyard with lots of grass and shady spots for exploring, playing and zooming around, but they’re also welcome anywhere inside the house. If your dog normally sleeps on your bed, they’re more than welcome to sleep on (or in) mine too!

I also have a beautiful, friendly resident dog who genuinely enjoys having visitors and is always happy to share her home.

I’m experienced with puppies as well as older dogs, and I’m happy to continue the routines they’re used to at home, whether that’s toilet training, medication, special feeding instructions or simply making sure they get the right amount of exercise and enrichment.

One thing that’s really important to me is keeping numbers small. For boarding, I usually only like to host one family of dogs at a time (with the occasional overlap if it’s a great fit). For daycare, I generally care for no more than 2–3 dogs. This means every dog gets plenty of attention, individual care and constant supervision, rather than being one of many.

Before any stay, we’ll arrange a relaxed meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is comfortable. During your dog’s stay, I’ll send lots of photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and settled.

We’re also conveniently located in Coburg, making drop-off easy if you’re heading to Melbourne Airport for a holiday.
