Hi, I'm Lia an experienced pet sitter + dog walker from Sydney. I love being a temporary pet mum and have had so many great pet sitting and dog walking experiences. I'm proactive about communication, sending updates and love creating community. With me, you can trust that I'll care and respect your pets and your home. I'm a genuine girl, responsible with a calm & positive nature.

I've had 30+ pet sits and been a dog walker for 2+ years now. I've taken care of bunnies, cats, dogs. I've done palliative care for older dogs. I've managed giving medication as well.

SERVICES BREAKDOWN:

- For pet sits, generally I will walk the dogs as much or as little as they are used to in their day to day routines, prepare meals and keep their meal times and amounts the same, administer any medications, cuddles and pats always! Cleaning paws and wiping them off when dirty from coming in from walking. I will also water plants and keep their home tidy!

- For dog walking, I will make sure to understand where the dog/s like to be walked, their behaviour on walks and with other dogs and try to make sure they enjoy the walk while not experiencing any stress.

I've had many repeat pet sits and been a regular dog walker for many. I love animals and love getting to know the quirks and routines of the animals I care for. I have a lot of reviews ( on other sites/ pages ) if you want to take a look let me know!

Petsitting has worked wonders for me to be able to travel ethically and sustainably. I'm an artist, I do pet portraits as well and love to leave one behind for owners to find when they return home! Working as a petsitter has helped support me as an artist incredibly as I explore new areas which influence my art making and finding where my emerging creative career will take me.

I have professional experience in animal care from working at a veterinary practice for cats assisting the vet on site. As well as volunteering experience taking care of a range of animals from goats to horses to wolf-dogs on an animal sanctuary in the north of Italy.
