Hi, I'm Elise!

I'm originally from Mauritius 🇲🇺 and I'm here in Sydney to study for a Master in Design.

About me: I grew up surrounded by animals (four cats and a dog over the years), and a childhood spent by the beach and in the forest, where nature and wildlife were part of everyday life. Being close to animals makes me happy and keeps me connected, and I miss having them around. Two of my cats are still back home and I think about them all the time, so looking after your pet would truly be an honour for me!

My experience: I did pet sitting while living in France for three years, and I've also house-sat many times in Mauritius, looking after a dog and keeping an eye on the house. I'm very comfortable with animals and I don't mind grooming them or giving medication if needed :).

What I offer: Unfortunately my landlord doesn't allow pets, so I can't host animals at my place. Instead, I come to you! Walks are usually 30 or 60 minutes, and drop-in visits are around 30 minutes for feeding, fresh water, playtime and cuddles, these are just standard durations, and I'm happy to adjust based on what you and your pet actually need ;). For house sitting, I stay overnight at your home and follow your pet's normal routine. Whichever service you book, I send photo updates after each visit so you can relax and see how things are going.

Pets I care for: I actually love and respect all type of animal but I'm for sure a fur person 🐈‍⬛ and if you show me what your pet needs, I would happily learn.

Availability: The only times I'm not available are Tuesday mornings and all day Wednesday, when I have classes but I'm happy to visit before and or after class. Otherwise I'm free every other day of the week and on weekends. And of course, when I'm looking after your pet, I'm fully present and attentive 🫡.
