Hi, I'm Angélica, and I've been surrounded by dogs since I was in my mum's belly. They've been the most important beings in our family, and I grew up learning to care for them, respect them and love them. That connection with them is something I carry inside me, and that's why I decided to offer my time and my home to look after other people's dogs. I've also worked as a volunteer carer, purely out of passion, because being around them isn't a job to me — it's something I genuinely enjoy.

I only offer care in my home, which means your dog stays with me at my place for as long as you need. I like them to feel calm, accompanied and safe, so I prefer to only look after them when I'm sure I'll be home all day. That's why my availability is mainly on weekends, and some weeks I also have Fridays, Mondays and Wednesdays free. If your dog needs company, gentle walks and a safe space to rest, I can help.

I care for dogs of any size. So far I've only looked after dogs of family and friends, so I take every new experience with a lot of responsibility and love. I live in Chermside, in a house with an unfenced yard, but you're welcome to come and have a look before leaving your dog with me, so you can see the space and feel at ease.

Although my yard is unfenced, I never leave dogs unsupervised outside. I keep them on a lead during toilet breaks, stay with them at all times, and make sure doors are closed when we're inside. Walks typically last around 20–30 minutes, depending on your dog's age, energy level and needs. I prefer to organise everything through the app's messaging system, as it's more comfortable for me and means I can reply calmly when I'm available.
