Hi! My name is Iris. I’m originally from Hong Kong, and I’m currently in Australia on a working holiday. I genuinely love animals and grew up caring for pets such as fish, turtles, and hamsters. I understand how important it is to provide calm, consistent care—especially when pets are in a new environment or their owners are away. In Hong Kong, I gained hands-on pet-sitting experience. Several friends trusted me to look after their cats, and they did so because I’m reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. I take pet care seriously, and I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in my presence. To be even more prepared, I completed Pet First Aid training with the Australian Red Cross. This means I’m confident in handling common situations and staying calm when it matters most. I offer in-home pet sitting at your place, including feeding, cleaning, fresh water, and playtime, as well as dog walking when needed. I respect each pet’s routine, personality, and needs, and I work with patience and attention to detail. I also prioritize a clean and safe home environment. As a social worker, I’m especially good at communication—I will keep you updated about your pet’s condition and activities so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pets, learn their routines, and ensure everything goes smoothly. If you’d like, we can discuss schedules and specific needs in advance.
