Hi, I’m Jaya. I’m a calm, reliable and detail-oriented pet sitter with a huge love for animals and years of experience caring for pets, including high-maintenance animals with specific routines, needs and personalities.

I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pets and home in someone else’s care. My approach is warm, practical and routine-focused. I take the time to understand each pet’s normal rhythm, including feeding times, walks, medication, sleep routines, anxiety triggers, favourite games, boundaries and the little details that help them feel safe and settled.

I work from home, which means I can offer a high level of presence and consistency while house sitting. A typical day with me would include keeping your pet’s normal morning routine, feeding them according to your instructions, making sure they have fresh water, giving them company throughout the day, taking them for walks or outdoor time, offering playtime and affection, keeping their space clean, and settling them into their usual evening routine. I’m also happy to send regular photo or message updates so you know how they are going while you’re away.

For dog walking, I work around the needs, age, fitness level and temperament of each dog. My average walk is usually a minimum of 45 minutes to 1 hour, unless your dog needs something shorter, slower or more structured. I’m active and happy to do longer walks for dogs who need more exercise, but I’m equally mindful of senior dogs, anxious dogs, puppies, reactive dogs or pets with lower energy needs.

Where appropriate, I also love taking dogs on enriching outings such as beach trips, park walks or relaxed outdoor adventures, depending on their recall, temperament, permissions and comfort level. I’m also happy to support safe socialisation where suitable, whether that means gentle exposure to other dogs, people and new environments, or simply helping them build confidence in a calm and controlled way. I would always follow your preferences and only do this where it is safe and appropriate for your pet.

For house sitting, I can stay with your pets day and night and keep their routine as close to normal as possible. This can include feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, cuddles, medication if required, basic grooming, cleaning up after pets, bringing in mail, putting bins out, watering plants and keeping your home tidy and secure.

I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats and most small pets, provided I’m given clear instructions on their care requirements. I have experience with animals who need extra patience, routine and reassurance, including pets who are anxious, particular, energetic, older, or used to a high level of care. I am happy to administer medication where clear instructions are provided, and I always like to confirm dosage, timing and any relevant health notes before the booking begins.

If there is ever an emergency, I would contact you immediately, follow your instructions, and seek veterinary care straight away if needed. Before each booking, I like to have your preferred vet details, an emergency contact, medication instructions, health history and any behaviour notes so I can act quickly, calmly and responsibly if anything unexpected happens.

A little about me: I’ve owned and run my own businesses for the past six years, so I’m self-managed, organised, trustworthy and used to taking responsibility seriously. I’m big on routine, communication and attention to detail, and I will follow your instructions closely.

I’m also very clean and respectful in someone else’s home. I must live in a clean environment myself, and I will treat your home as if it were my own, keeping it tidy, secure and well looked after while you are away.
