I’m currently volunteering with Guide Dogs Victoria, where I help care for dogs by cleaning their spaces, walking them, spending time with them and helping them feel calm, comfortable and happy. I also have over a year of experience in Spain working with dogs and cats in shelters, including animals that were nervous, shy or more challenging to handle. A big part of that experience was helping them build confidence and feel safe around people.

I’ve loved animals since I was a child and grew up spending a lot of time with my grandparents’ dogs. I really enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and adapting my approach to what makes them feel most comfortable.

For dog walking, I can adapt walks to your dog’s age, energy level and routine. Walks can normally be around 60 minutes, or longer for active dogs, around local parks and quiet neighbourhood areas. I’m also happy to include playtime, enrichment and plenty of attention.

For day care or pet sitting, I can feed your pet according to their normal schedule, provide fresh water, walks, playtime, company and any usual routines you would like me to follow. I’m also comfortable caring for cats and understand that they may need a calmer and more independent approach.

I’m happy to spend most of the day with your pet and would only leave them alone for getting lunch, depending on their needs and what we agree beforehand.

For overnight stays, I’m happy to follow the pet’s normal sleeping routine, whether that means sleeping in their own bed, crate or another familiar area. I want them to keep as much of their usual routine as possible so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away.

Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet with patience, affection and respect, and I’ll always keep you updated so you can feel comfortable knowing they’re being well looked after. 🐶🐱
