Hello ☺️

My name is Kc. I have just moved to Canterbury with my partner, and I am on the lookout for individuals or families who would like to have their dog or cat walked 🐶🐱

I work full-time as a research officer at a university, within the disability sector. Although I am busy at times, my partner and I are quite home bound, and usually go on walks within the neighbourhood either after work or on the weekends ☀️ Additionally, as I work from home every Monday and Friday, I am usually more flexible with my time. 

My partners name is Sam 🙋‍♂️ He is a full-time electrician. He is a big softy and may sometimes join the walks with me. He has the additional knowledge of taking care of animals such as rabbits and insects from his younger years. If I were to put myself in the shoes of someone seeking a pet walker, I would assume I would feel more at ease knowing that my pet has the comfort of two people looking out for them ☺️ 👀

My partner and I have always been around pets. For example, I have always been around dogs or cats during my university years, and horses as a child 🐎 Currently we take care of our cat called Franny and are avid fishtank enthusiasts 🐟

I have had many many years experience in taking care of other people's pets. As mentioned above, I have never not been around pets. Therefore, when housemates, parents or my partner is away, at times, duty calls to ensure that pets are walked, played with, fed, groomed and cuddled. In addition, as I am an obsessive cleaner, it is no stress to me to ensure pet areas remain sanitised.

I am typically more comfortable with small dogs or breeds that are known to be more friendly (e.g., Labrador). Cats, I always feel comfortable around. I tend to typically go walking around Canterbury's lovely residental streets, while exploring different routes and parks along the way 🌲

Although 15 minute walks are lovely, I would most likely accept walks of 30min to 1 hour 🚶🏼‍♀️

The nitty gritty: I always try my best to treat everyone with respect and kindness. I have a low tolerance for people who don't mirror those values (e.g., race or sexuality) 👫
