Hello! I’ve recently moved to Cairns and am missing the constant companionship of a dog. Having grown up surrounded by pets, including my "angel" Labrador and my own Cockapoo. I truly believe dogs are family.

Specialized Experience & Care

I have extensive experience with high-needs dogs. My own Cockapoo struggled significantly with separation anxiety, so I am deeply familiar with the patience and specialized care required for anxious or reactive pups. I understand the "velcro dog" personality and know how to provide a calm, reassuring presence to help them feel secure.

Safety & Emergency Readiness

Your dog’s safety is my absolute priority. During our walks along the Cairns boardwalk or in local green spaces, I utilize:

• Double-point leash attachments for reactive or "flight risk" dogs.

• Constant environmental scanning to avoid stressful triggers.

• Strict "no off-lead" policies unless in a fully secured, familiar area.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I am calm under pressure, have immediate access to transport, and keep the contact details of the nearest 24-hour vet (such as Cairns Veterinary Clinic) on hand at all times.

Daily Routine & Enrichment

I am at home for the majority of the day, ensuring dogs are never left alone for more than an hour. A typical day includes:

• Structured Exercise: Morning and afternoon walks tailored to their energy level.

• Mental Enrichment: Sniff-walks, basic command reinforcement, and puzzle toys to keep their minds sharp.

• Handled with Love: I am comfortable managing multiple dogs from the same household and am diligent about following specific feeding, medication, or training routines.

I treat every dog with the same level of care and vigilance I gave my own. I can't wait to meet your furry friend and give them a home-away-from-home experience!
