Hi! I’m Maddie, originally from New Zealand and I’ve been living in Melbourne for the past three years.

I’ve been pet sitting since I moved here, as I have two fur babies back home that I miss so much — Ellie, a 13-year-old West Highland Terrier, and Rosie, a 4-year-old Miniature Schnauzer. Pet sitting has been the perfect way for me to get my dog fix while still having the flexibility to travel home and spend time with my own pups.

I live with my partner, Alex, in a three-storey townhouse, just the two of us. I work from home two days a week and Alex has a 4 day work week, so your furry friend will have plenty of company and won’t be left alone for long periods. We would absolutely love having a pet around to keep us company.

While we don’t have a courtyard, we do have a large balcony and are lucky to live just down the road from Burnley Park and the Yarra River, making it the perfect location for daily walks, playtime and plenty of outdoor adventures.

I know how much our pets mean to us, so I will always treat your furry family member as if they were my own. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away.

I also understand how important it is to stay connected with your pet while you’re apart, so I’ll send plenty of photo updates and regular check-ins to keep you updated and reassured that they’re happy and well cared for.
