Hi, I'm Gemma! I live in Burleigh on the Gold Coast with my partner and our two French Bulldogs, so caring for dogs is a genuine part of my everyday life, not just a side job. I grew up around pets and have spent the last few years pet sitting for friends across the Gold Coast, so I'm well practised at settling into someone else's home and routine and making sure their pet feels comfortable and loved the whole time.

House sitting: I'll stay overnight in your home for the length of your booking. Your dog won't be left alone for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time, and I'll be home overnight. Each day includes two walks, regular meals, play and company, plus mail collection and keeping the house lived in. You'll get a photo or video update morning and evening.

Dog walks: Walks are 30 to 60 minutes, tailored to your dog's energy level, from a gentle stroll to a longer walk to burn off energy. I'll send a photo and a quick message at the end of every walk.

Home visits: Visits are 30 to 45 minutes, ideal for feeding, a bathroom break, playtime and a check-in when you're out for the day. I'll send an update after each visit, and I can book multiple visits a day if your dog needs them.

Given my own dogs, I have a real soft spot and understanding for French Bulldogs and other small or brachycephalic breeds, including how to manage them in the heat. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I'm always reachable throughout a booking if you need an update. My home and schedule are flexible, and we're close to some lovely local parks for walks and play. I treat every dog as if they were my own.
