While some people are pet sitters and come stay, or they offer home boarding, my service is to come visit once or twice a day.I check in for 40 minutes to an hour. Feed, brush, clean up after and play with your pet. Often my 10 year old daughter comes and helps too.
My service is suited to the pet owner who may not have neighbours or family nearby to check in on their fur baby. They may not want to book into a kennel and their pet doesn't require 24/7 supervision. Perfect for peace of mind if you are just away a few nights, have a new puppy/kitten who needs someone to check in during those first weeks while you are at work.
I look after dogs and cats. Ideally I'd prefer my clients to be in the Buderim area as it is more convenient to where I live. However, I am open to other neighbourhoods, am familiar with Twin Waters as began my pet sitting while living there so happy to walk this neighbourhood too.
I prefer to come meet with you first so we can develop trust and confidence, then take the booking from there!
A little about Me.
I am a 40-something home based Mum who also works a business as a Reiki Master Healer (yes, your pet can benefit from this when I visit if required! Can help settle pets I've found). Pet Sitting is a side income.
I have a pet rescue cat named Delilah (in my photos) She is 10 just like my human-daughter. I wasn't always a cat-lover, my heart was for dogs and I begged my parents to let me have a golden cocker spaniel ALL my childhood.
My favourite thing as a child was walking my Nana and Pops dog Bonnie when we would visit on weekends. Eventually, after close to 15 years and taking care of pet fish, birds and rabbits (I'm Victorian) I was gifted a cocker spaniel puppy. I groomed and adored Gemma like a child for 11 years until she passed from illness.
Next best thing to having my own dog is taking care of other people's fur babies. I love cats tremendously now. My cat follows me around much like my cocker spaniel used to, just with cat-sassyness! Having a rescue pet is wonderful, it is amazing what love can do to a timid, scared kitty once you give her a home. One day I'm thinking I will get another cocker spaniel or an "oodle" of some sort. For now I am happy with my cat Delilah and visiting all the other beautiful fur babies I meet as a pet sitter.
