My name is Sophie, nice to e-meet you!

I’m a genuine animal lover who would absolutely love the opportunity to care for your pets while you’re away! I’m responsible, attentive and understand that every animal is different, with their own personality, routine, quirks and needs.

I’ve always felt very comfortable around animals, and I currently have my own gorgeous cat, Bean, who I’ve had since moving to Melbourne. Caring for Bean has given me plenty of experience understanding an animal’s individual habits and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and settled in their environment. I’m naturally calm, caring and patient, and I’ll always take the time to get to know your pet and what makes them feel happiest.

I’m happy to offer pet sitting and home visits, including feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles, companionship, litter tray cleaning and keeping your pet’s usual routine as consistent as possible. I’m also happy to take dogs for walks and give them the attention and exercise they need. Visits can be tailored to your pet, whether they need a quick check-in or more dedicated company.

I’m most comfortable caring for cats and dogs, as well as other friendly household pets where their needs are clearly explained. I’m not set up to care for aggressive animals or pets requiring specialist or intensive medical care.

I’m currently studying naturopathy, and outside of study I love being outdoors, cooking, reading and generally spending time around animals. I’m available around my study commitments and will always be upfront about my availability so we can find something that works well for both you and your pet.

Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets with the same care, patience and affection I’d want for my own. I’m also very happy to send photos and little updates while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re happy and being well looked after.
