Hello! My name is Lucas and I'm available to both host or walk your dog on a Monday to Friday, or visit your cat any day of the week. I've grown up with pets of all types and sizes (dogs, cats, fish, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats, hermit crabs, and more), so if it has fur, scales, or whatever, I'm want to pat it! For hosting, your dog will be cared for in a safe, relaxed environment: hangouts on the sofa, play time with plenty of toys and someone around to look after them at all times. Our house is suited to smaller dogs or older dogs who are happy to laze about when not out for a walk. We've got 2 resident dogs, a toy poodle and a cavoodle, who love playing with toys, having a cuddle and enjoying the company of other dogs. I also have a senior cat who is very chill, used to dogs and spends most of her time sleeping in her bed under the stairs, boy wizard style, until dinner time. My wife also works from home, so if I need to duck out of the house for any reason, your pet will never be left alone. Our townhouse is in Brunswick, close to Jewel train station on the Upfield line and the 58 & 19 tram lines. We have a large terrace upstairs with a doggy door which is always open and more room to play and get fresh air. Because we have stairs, your dog will need to be able to go up/down the stairs so it's safe for them. We're a 2-minute walk from Temple Park, and close to Gilpin, Royal and Princes Park, where we love taking the dogs to socialise, play with the ball, or just sniff everything nature has to offer. For visits at your home, I'm more than happy to meet beforehand for a vibe check for everyone's peace of mind and as a plant lover I'm more than happy to give any thirsty plants a drink as well if needed. I have reasonable flexibility around daytime hours, just send me a message and I'll let you know what works!
