Hi I'm Rubie, and I'm currently taking a break from the 9 to 5 life and eager to spend as much of my time with animals as possible! My 13 year old girl Echo recently passed away, and I miss the companionship so much. I'd love nothing more than to spend some time with pups either on walks or short sleepovers to help fill the void. Cuddles and constant attention guaranteed.

With a fair amount of time on my hands I am very flexible with timeframes, and keen to take your pups on longer or shorter walks depending on their needs! Also available for day visits (within distance), and house-sitting. I'm home-based so your pup would have constant companionship for short stays, and minimal alone time for longer ones. My dogs have always been allowed on couches, beds, wherever I am so if that's something yours is used to they will have the same eperience in my home :)

I'm a lifelong dog lover (call it a special interest if you will), and have spent most of my childhood and adult life with border collies and other working dogs as companions. I spent my teen years taking my dog to weekly obedience classes, and my dogs have always been included in all parts of my life whether it's camping, hiking, running along beside the bike, or snuggling on the couch at night.

My partner and I live in a standalone unit with a small but secure courtyard, and it's around the corner from a very dog-friendly oval, as well as close to Gilpin Park with secure dog runs. Having owned working dogs I am very comfortable with high energy hounds, understanding their need for both mental and physical stimulation. Confident introducing dogs to others and reading behaviour signals.

I am available Monday to Friday, with potential for weekends if given notice in advance.
