Hi there! I’m Grace, 37, and I’d love to help look after your furry family members. 🐾

I’ve been working as a carer in the ACT for over 5 years, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds, including some of our most vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community. Caring, patience, responsibility and attention to detail are a big part of what I do every day.

As a pet mum myself, I’m now extending that same care to our lovely pets! I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can genuinely trust. Every pet has their own personality, routines and little quirks, and I’m very happy to follow your instructions so they feel comfortable and secure in their own home.

For dogs, I particularly enjoy long walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to tailor walks to your dog’s age, energy level and temperament — whether that means a gentle 20–30 minute stroll or a longer, more active walk. I’m also comfortable with dogs who are nervous, excitable or need a little extra patience and space.

For cats and other pets, I’m happy to follow their usual routines, including feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles (when invited!), litter care and keeping their environment clean and comfortable.

As part of my own pet-mum journey, I’ve also gained experience with after-surgery care and caring for pets recovering from injuries. I understand the importance of following care instructions carefully, monitoring changes in behaviour and letting owners know promptly if something doesn’t seem right.

I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once and will make sure each one receives individual attention. In an unexpected or emergency situation, I’ll stay calm, follow your instructions and contact you promptly. If veterinary attention is needed, I’m happy to assist according to your preferred emergency plan.

Communication is very important to me. Before a visit, I’d love to know about your pet’s personality, routine, medications, triggers, favourite things and anything else that will help me care for them properly. I’m also happy to send updates and photos during my visit, so you can relax knowing they’re safe, comfortable and well cared for.
