I’m a kind, caring and responsible pet minder and am able to care for your pet when you are unavailable.

I have a particular emphasis on safety and security and care for your overall piece of mind. I am firm but gentle with animals using positive reinforcement with toys or approved treats to help make friends with your pet quickly.

I know lots of good walking routes, all the local parks and play areas, and lots of the local animals!

I am happy to administer medicine orally or to skin. I don’t offer other types of medical administering.

When house visiting I am also happy to secure mail, take in bins, and ensure the property is left secure.

My location is the Inner North near Light Rail stops and bus stops. All new customers can do a virtual or in-person meet and greet at a mutually convenient time. I can video call you via FaceTime, or Zoom or Skype, or audio call via good ol’ phone number!

My time spent when visiting or walking depends on the needs of the pet in care, any access arrangements to the property, as well as travel time to get to you but I often spend 15-20 minutes with pet(s). If you need a particular amount of time or tasks completed please let me know before booking.

I pledge to respond to all messages immediately I receive them: particularly any security concerns or pet concerns.

In periods of ACT Health notices: I practice COVID-Safe meet and greets and am happy to wear a respiratory mark and keep my distance - zero contact.

I am happy to arrange two visits per day when necessary for pets with special needs. The booking system requires us to manually edit the booking to reflect two visits per day so I can help with this after receiving the booking request.

Doggy Day Care drop off and pick up is 9am thru 5pm at pre-arranged times only unless agreed prior to booking. Additional care and more services are available on request. To ensure security, ad-hoc ‘drop-in, drop-out’ arrangements are not available.

My property is highly secure and private with no visitor access or unknown pets attending. Guest pup in care has access to indoor and security fenced outdoor areas of their own: supervised playtime in larger secure yard area with my dog is provided (only if pup is comfortable). All areas of property are monitored with CCTV and motion alerts. Location is also registered with booking service and local authorities.

Part of my safety policy is to refrain from; (a) visiting dog parks or interacting with unknown pets unless owner has pre-approved and (b) refrain from visiting bodies of water (lake/river/ocean) with pup.

To provide a quote including final costing, the booking system requires a booking request with location, pet/s types, pet quantities, extra tasks required, quantity of visits per day, weekend or holiday periods, pick up and drop off times, and any special requests to be considered first before a figure can be calculated. Prices are only indicative until a booking and request for payment is sent. Please let me know upfront any tasks or special requirements as I am not able to provide these separately while contracted to a specific service.

All communication for booked services must be via the Pawshake messaging service only. I’m not able to communicate via other means when contracted due to platform restrictions.

I am happy to provide a discount for bulk bookings to reduce costs wherever possible.
