I’m Amulya, and my love for dogs and cats has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents didn’t share my animal obsession hence I never had a pet that I could call my own. So whenever our neighbors asked me to look after their playful Labrador, Harley, I jumped at the chance. Those afternoons spent chasing tennis balls down leafy streets, rubbing his soft ears, and watching her curl up contentedly at my feet felt like pure magic. From there, I began helping out the other families down the block, walking their dogs, feeding and entertaining their shy cats. Each new friendship reminded me how much joy and comfort animals bring, and I fell in love with pet-sitting. 

Since moving to Canberra two years ago, I’ve sorely missed that furry companionship. Joining Pawshake feels like the perfect way to bring more of those joyful moments back into my life—and to share them with pets and their families who need a reliable friend. Whether it’s a brisk 30-minute walk through your neighborhood, an energetic game of tug-of-war in the backyard, or a peaceful cuddle session on the couch, I will pour my full attention and genuine affection into every visit.

I’m simply here to build a trusting bond, learn each pet’s unique personality, and make sure they feel loved, safe, and thoroughly spoiled while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member!
