Hi, I’m Jess! I’m a 19-year-old Veterinary Nursing student with a Certificate II in Animal Care, and I absolutely love caring for animals. I provide calm, reliable in-home pet sitting so your pets can stay safe, relaxed, and comfortable in their own environment while you’re away.

I’ve been pet sitting for several years and regularly care for pets for families outside of Pawshake who I’ve worked with long-term. Many of my bookings come from repeat clients, which I’m really grateful for. My goal is always to make sure both you and your pets feel completely comfortable and confident while you’re away.

Qualifications & Experience

Alongside my studies, I work as a stablehand and regularly handle animals of all sizes, ages and temperaments. Through both my work and studies I’ve developed strong knowledge of animal behaviour, welfare, and recognising early signs of stress or illness.

Because I study from home when I’m not working, I’m around most of the day and able to spend plenty of time with your pets so they receive lots of companionship and attention.

House Sitting 🏡

When house sitting, I stay in your home and care for your pets just as you would — feeding, walks, enrichment, cuddles, and maintaining their normal routine so they feel secure and settled.

I’m also happy to help with small household tasks while you’re away, such as:

• watering plants

• putting the bins out

• collecting mail

• keeping the home lived-in and secure

I only leave the house for a few hours on four days a week for my work at a farm stay, and otherwise spend most of my time at home studying.
