Hi, I’m June, a dog lover and qualified pet care professional. After retiring from my corporate career in 2017, I followed my passion for dogs and have been working with them ever since. Since mid-2023, I have been running my independent dog care business, June’s Doggy Daycare, from my home in North Ryde. After taking some time for a sabbatical and relocating to Botany, I’m now excited to welcome dog guests back into my home again. I’m a qualified dog trainer and qualified canine myofunctional therapist, and I have experience working with a variety of breeds, including German Shepherds, Labradors, White Shepherds, Shelties, Spoodles, Cavoodles and Groodles. Most of my time and experience, however, has been caring for Mini Dachshunds. My professional experience has taught me that every dog is different, with their own personality, needs and comfort levels. I offer personalised care where your dog receives plenty of individual attention, companionship, play, exercise and mental stimulation. Whether your pup needs some one-on-one training, playtime and socialisation, or simply a safe and caring place to spend the day while you’re at work, I aim to make their time with me enjoyable and enriching. I keep the number of dogs in my care small. I typically look after just one dog at a time, or possibly two if they are from the same household, although I may occasionally have some extra guests for the day. This allows me to provide attentive supervision and maintain a calm and comfortable environment. I carefully consider each dog’s age, size, breed, personality and temperament to ensure they are a suitable fit. For boarding, I provide exercise and enrichment on days when there are no additional doggie guests. A trial process is required for first-time boarding so we can make sure your dog is comfortable and that the experience is a positive one. My goal is to provide loving, professional and personalised care while giving you peace of mind that your furry family member is in safe and experienced hands.
