I am a passionate and experienced animal lover with over four years of experience working at Petbarn as an Assistant Manager and Dog Trainer. During my time there, I gained extensive hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, supporting pet owners, and training dogs using positive, reward-based methods. I also hold a Certificate II in Animal Studies and Care, which has given me strong foundational knowledge in animal health, behaviour, and overall wellbeing.

In addition to my professional experience, I have hands-on personal experience with my own rescue dog, Henry, who is a Cattle Dog cross Pomeranian. Working with Henry has given me invaluable experience in understanding dog behaviour, building trust, managing anxiety, and reinforcing consistent training at home. Raising and training a rescue dog has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to read subtle behavioural cues.

Because Henry is uncomfortable around other dogs, I’m unable to offer pet sitting in my own home. However, I am very happy to provide care in your home where your pet feels safe and secure in their familiar environment.

I offer:

• Dog walking for as long as your pet needs — whether it’s a quick energy-burning stroll or a longer adventure.

• Pet sitting in your home for up to 3 nights (subject to availability).

• Home visits for feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, and plenty of affection.

• Basic training support, including reinforcing simple commands and good manners using positive methods.

I currently work part-time at a café, so I am not available 24/7. However, I communicate clearly about my schedule and always ensure your pet receives reliable, attentive, and loving care while you’re away.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love what I do. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing are my top priorities, and I would treat them with the same care and respect as I do my own. 🐾
