Hi, I’m Laura! I’m originally from New Zealand and now based in Brisbane. I absolutely adore animals and grew up with rescue cats and dogs, so caring for them has always been a big part of my life.

Growing up, I helped look after strays, cared for pregnant cats and helped find loving homes for their kittens. Supporting animal rescue shelters is also something close to my heart. Those experiences have shown me how different every animal is, and how much patience and kindness matter when helping them feel safe.

I’d love to put that love for animals into helping people care for their pets. I know how much trust it takes to leave your animal with someone else, and I’d want you to feel comfortable sharing their routines, habits and any little quirks before a booking.

Whether your pet loves attention or needs a little space and time to warm up, I’d take my lead from them. My aim is to help them feel comfortable, cared for and loved while you’re away.

Dog walks and home visits

My dog walks last 30/60 minutes with the pace suited to your dog’s age, energy and usual routine. Home visits last include feeding, fresh water, cleaning litter trays or any pet accidents, and time for play, company or cuddles. I’ll send photos and updates so you know how your pet is doing.

Daycare and overnight boarding

Pets staying with me will have a secure 2 story house with a fenced gate to stay. They will sleep wherever the owner feels most comfortable (whether thats downstairs on their bed or in my bedroom). I can accommodate 2 pets at a time. There are no other pets/children at home. I’ll follow their usual feeding, exercise and sleeping routines wherever possible. During their stay, pets may be left alone for up to 1 hour.

House sitting

When staying in your home, I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine and keep their living areas clean and tidy. I’ll stay overnight and may be out during the day for up to 2 hours at a time.

Before any booking, I’d like to discuss your pet’s personality, health, routines and emergency contacts. If your pet becomes unwell or injured, I’ll contact you promptly and seek veterinary help when needed. If it’s urgent and I can’t reach you, I’ll prioritise getting them veterinary care.
