Hello I'm Vanessa, a newly graduated veterinarian with a lifelong passion for animals and years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up surrounded by pets –dogs, cats, rabbits, you name it – and that early love for animals naturally led me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. During vet
school, I worked as a dog walker and pet sitter, caring for everything from energetic puppies to senior cats with special needs. Every animal is unique, with their own personality, quirks, and routines, and I love taking the time to get to know each one.

I'm trained to recognise early signs of illness or distress, administer medications (including injections) with confidence, and respond calmly and competently in an emergency. Whether your pet needs daily tablets, a careful eye on a chronic condition, or just someone who knows what to look out for, you can trust they're in safe hands. I also have RSPCA pet first aid and CPR knowledge, so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away.

I genuinely love walking dogs and I have plenty of experience with cats too, including shy or anxious ones who need a
little extra patience.

Daytime care at your home:
I'll come to your home and spend quality time with your pet, keeping them company, following their usual routine, and making sure they feel
safe and happy while you're out. This includes feeding, playtime, cuddles, and any medication they need.

Dog walking (30 minutes): I'll pick up your dog and take them for a walk at a pace that suits them – whether that's a brisk stroll for an energetic pup or a gentle
wander for an older dog. I always bring water, watch for signs of overheating or fatigue, and send you a photo update so you can see your baby whenever you'd like.

One home visit per day (approximately 30 minutes):
Perfect for cats, small animals, or dogs who just need a check-in. I'll feed your pet, refresh their water, clean litter trays or food areas, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and administer any medications if needed. I'm also happy to bring in your mail, water your plants, or do other small tasks while I'm there.

Two home visits per day (approximately 30–40 minutes each): The same as above, but twice a day. Ideal for pets who need more frequent care, multiple meals, or just extra company. I'm flexible and happy to adjust any service to suit your pet's specific needs. Just let me know what works best for them.

I care for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and most small animals. I'm comfortable with all breeds, and ages, including puppies, senior pets, and animals with medical conditions. All services are provided at your home where your pet gets to stay in their own comfortable environment with their familiar smells and routines, which is much less stressful for them.

I know how hard it is to leave your pet with someone else, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I'll send you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well looked after.
