Hi, I'm Josie, 'm so glad you found me.

If you're anything like me, leaving your dog with someone else is a big deal. They're part of the family, and you want to know they'll be loved, cared for and treated with the same kindness and patience they receive at home. That's exactly the sort of care I promise to provide.

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I genuinely love their company, their funny little personalities and the joy they bring to a home. Looking after dogs has never felt like work to me—it's something I truly enjoy. Friends and family have trusted me with their dogs for years, and I'm excited to now welcome new furry friends through Pawshake.

I live in a family home in Queens Park with my beautiful 12-year-old dog, Gus, and my animal-loving 7-year-old son. We're only a short walk from Queens Park and Centennial Park, so every day includes plenty of fresh air, exercise and time to explore. Back at home there's always a sunny spot for a nap, a cuddle on the couch and someone nearby for company, as I work from home full-time.

I offer one-hour dog walks, doggy day care and overnight boarding. For day care and boarding, I choose to care for just one family's dog (or dogs from the same household) at a time. I love being able to focus on getting to know each dog properly, learning their routine, understanding what makes them feel comfortable and making sure they receive all the attention they deserve.

Every dog is different, and that's one of the things I love most. Some want to play, some want to explore, and some simply want to be close to someone they trust. Whatever your dog needs, I'll meet them where they're at and care for them with patience, kindness and lots of affection.

I'll happily follow your dog's usual routine, administer medication if required, and keep you updated with photos and little messages along the way. I know how reassuring it is to see a happy face and a wagging tail when you're away from home.
